Brighton workshop schedule
This two-day workshop begins with an online session held one week in advance, followed by hands-on street photography in Brighton, creative exercises, portfolio reviews, group discussions, and personal feedback to help refine your vision and skills.
Pre-workshop online presentation – seven days prior to the workshop
Presentation: Introduction to the workshop and creative process.
Portfolio review: Presentation and feedback of participants’ portfolios.
Q&A: Discuss goals, expectations, and answer any questions.
Homeplay: A creative warm-up exercise for all participants.
Day 1
9:00 am: Meet in Brighton for a welcome coffee.
9:30 am: Discuss homeplay exercise and results.
10:30 am: Head out into the streets of Brighton.
1:00 pm: Break for lunch, check in on progress.
2:00 pm: Afternoon session, experimenting with new techniques.
6:00 pm: Wrap up street work and gather for evening drinks.
Evening: Participants download images and make an edit of 5-10 images for review at the start of Day 2.
Day 2
9:00 am: Meet in the studio to review of the previous day's images.
11:00 am: Head out into the streets of Brighton.
1:00 pm: Break for lunch, check in on progress.
2:00 pm: Afternoon session to refine your skills.
4:00 pm: Back to the studio for a final review of images.
5:30 pm: Workshop ends.
